The Pure Acorn-fed Iberian Ham comes from the hind leg of pure Iberian pigs with 100 of Iberian breed..
The animals are fed during "La Montanera", the time of the year that takes place in Autumn, between October and March, when the fruits come off the tree.
During this period, Iberian pigs roam freely in holm oak and cork oak pastures, consuming up to 10 kg. of acorns a day, in addition to grass and other natural resources.
Minimum cure of 36 months, depending on the size up to 48 months.
